Andy's horse raced huge, and Modern Family had the perfect trip and couldn't get home. Mister herbie had no excuse as he had a great trip as well

I thought Jody won with Warrawee Needy though... Even watching the replay I didn't think Sweet Lou got by and I never saw the photo. That was another terrific finish.

I can't pick on pezzy about his 'nappy-poo' at the Jugette. Many moons ago a drinking buddy and I went to DuQuoin for a few days of camping and catching the Hambo. On Hambo day we had breakfast sandwiches with bloody marys as a lead-in to many cold brewskies. By post time we had a rosey glow about us. The Hambo turned into one of those all day, multi-heat marathons. We decided that a little catnap was in order during the 1 hour rest delay prior to the final race-off so we stretched out on the sleeping bags. When we woke up it was pitch dark and everyone was gone. We had to buy a local newspaper Sunday morning to find out who won.

The high point of that trip was getting to meet Stan "The Man" Musial and visit with him for a bit. Being a Cardinal fan, Stan was my baseball hero. He was an ultra nice gentleman to everyone. My buddy is a diehard Cubs fan, so he took pics of Stan & me. He preferred to keep his distance from Stan so as to not catch any of those "winning cooties'... they're lethal to Cubbie fans.

Amen bother!  Reminds me of those 10 ring t-shirts they sell in St. Louie.  I would have bought one but they didn't have a 6XL.
