LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Doctors say she's worthy of a second chance.

A young painted horse from South Carolina came to Rood & Riddle in Lexington to undergo some life-saving surgery.

"Here was an animal that no one gave a chance, so we named her Worthy," says Ellie Laks with Gentle Barn.
