Orton was just placed on Waivers by the Broncos. VERY INTERESTING !!!!!
-
The Bears are 30th on the WW.
-
If think you have to but what do I know. idunno
-
Yes, but you have to worry about K.C Claiming him. Palko couldn't even play in the arena league. Houston is not interested, and I just read the bears are planning on claiming him
-
I would love to see the Bears get Orton. He's not a special player, but he's consistant, and if he has some decent pieces around him and doesn't have to do too much, he's always been pretty effective.

I think the Bears should call up Brett Favre !

Thanks, but no thanks.
Yes, claim Orton.

Cutler looked pretty damn ordinary early in the season, but who wouldn't when they got the snot knocked out of them on every snap. Now that the Bears o-line can offer protection, a decent QB has got a shot of taking them far.
I was never high on Orton, but he might be impressive with a strong line in front of him.
A question for the Bears fans: Could Haney make it in "The Bigs" with this line? I really never watched him play, so I'm curious.

It's really hard to say. I don't think anyone has seen enough of him in real game situations to know for sure. I think considering the situation last year having to come into the NFC championship game the way he did, he held his own. He does seem like he moves around pretty well in the pocket, which is very important for a Bears qb. I think it would really show a lot if he can go on the road cross country and beat a division leader on their turf. The most important factor isn't going to be if he can win a game for them, but if he doesn't lose one for them. If he doesn't make the big mistake, lets his defense, running game and special teams do their job, the Bears can do enough to make the playoffs, and hopefully by then Cutler will be ready to go, and not too rusty.
Anything is better than watching Todd Collins back there thumbsdown

Thanks for the 'capping B&C. I noticed in this AM's paper that I mispelled Hanie's name.

Claimed by the Chiefs. Will he report?? I would for $2.5mil.

And if they didn't claim him the bears were still not going to get him. Dallas claimed him too

i read that he may not report, but i dont see why he wouldnt. this is his chance to audition for teams going into free agency next year. its a shame the bears didnt get him.

Breaston and Bowe are betterb than anything the Bears have.

Orton always reminded me of Trent Dilfer. A QB that you need not to screw up anything.
-
Orton claimed by KC. Sorry Bear fans. Have fun with Hanie and recently signed Josh Mcnown

I;m pretty confident the Bears will win Sunday. Their defense has a hard time dealing with smaller quick backs and receivers(see Jahvid Best) . Sounds like Run DMC is out, and Jacoby Ford, and Denarious Moore are banged up, not to mention Hayward-Bey. As long as the O-line continues to play well the Bears will win.

I disagree with you both. The Raiders still have Michael Bush ( Ala Michael Turner but younger and Turner had over 100 yards and bush can catch the ball) They raiders still have Murphy, Schillens and T.J and the better QB. So since I think the raiders will win, you guys are good rflmao1
