Title: How's This For A Buddy
Post by: Just Saying on November 30, 2012, 04:38:41 PM
I saw my friend's post on Facebook that he had 4 tickets for a musical tonight that he couldn't use. My Bride wanted to see it so I sent him a PM to see if he still had them. He phoned me and said I could come and ge them. I told him I was under the weather but she could probably get there in time. He drove about 40 miles roundtrip to bring them to my house. Now she and 3 friends are headed to the show. I have some great friends!

Everybody's twice my size but you... you're 3 times. The pup went from zero to 90 in 2.7 years.

ps I'm really going to miss all those show tunes.

"The Story" it's about the bible, and features music performed by many of the top rated Christian groups. I'll bet it's a good show, but I don't care to sit through musicals.(especially when I'm sick)

Turns out she had already went by the arena and bought a $25 ticket, so when her and her three friends arrived she went to the ticket window where she was informed that they non-refundable. So she told the young lady at the window to take the ticket and give it to the next person that walked up. Well that caused the ticket manager to be called to explain protocol. To put it mildly, my Bride is a strong willed woman. The next person to the window got a free ticket to the concert, and the Bride and her friends all sat in adjoining seats.

I love it when a plan comes together.
