What is one hobby you have always wanted to be able to do but never have gotten good at?
For me it is Origami, I just am not able to get it.
-
Get good at it and make me a tree............I really love those little things and have never had one............when you look at them it is like you can transport yourself into a dark forest..........and my grandpa and great uncles fought the Japanese...........I have every right to enjoy their riches.
As far as a hobby...........I torture my children............I don't devote enough time to it..........but I do enjoy it.

Guitar. Although I get a lot of compliments from others, I know deep down I suck playing guitar.
Fingers do not have enough dexterity, play mostly chords only...way not good enough.

I've been blessed enough to be able to do many things... none of them exceptionally. It makes for a very fun life. I'm always in awe of people who really master something, but I wouldn't want to trade my life for theirs.
I wish I had tried to fly helicopters at least once. Seems like it would be a hoot.

Own a RACE horse so it would no longer be a hobby......... shootme

Before the advent of digital photography, it was film photography for me. Dissatisfaction with my early efforts, was primarily due to having to rely on others to process and edit my photos. After I retired from teaching, I had the time to learn digital photography, including the computer software that put the power of the "darkroom" in my hands. Being in control from the click of the shutter to the final print made all the difference in the world. My advice to anyone who thinks they are "not good" at a particular hobby is to stay with it and explore all possibilities. You might surprise yourself.

Lockjaw I will always remember you as the guy who put the pyjamas on Marilyn. I am sure you have to be very good at photoshop to pull something like that.

I wanted to take up tying flies. I would be good at it except for having 10 thumbs. I did make my own lures when I was younger, but stuck to spinners and plugs. I also enjoyed playing the piano. But, those damn short stubby fingers, not exactly piano hands. I could also play the accordian, but it's not as much fun as the piano.

But much easier to hold up through the whole gig.

I used to play the saxophone but stopped going into 9th grade because I didn't want to wear the marching band uniforms ... or be in marching band
