Post by: TW on September 05, 2012, 06:56:58 PM
16 races carded for Super Night this Saturday.  Superfecta in every race, a late pick 4 with some sort of guaranteed pool and a pick 8 in the OSS Championship races.  Friday is pay day.  Lock and load for Saturday.

Anyone in attendance make sure you stop over to the apron, first round is on me!

The pick 8 was going to be a pick 6 but with Heza Rube looking bad last week and making a break it is a pick 7....nobody beats Aters Friskie horse!

Sounds good, jug. I am doing winners circle interviews on the 8 Finals. Double bourbon. Rocks. (I will be the old, bald guy with a beard in the navy blazer AND a cigar. The other guy is Dean Hoffman)

:-[ I will be in Indiana racing in the sires stakes final for aged trotting mares.   :-[ Just hope my "not so sound filly" can hold it together to get me a check.  She is all guts or she would not be in the final. I will be on pins and needles til this is over!!  The trotting mare in Indy  is sharp and she has a good shot at winning in Indy if anyone wants to take a chance on her.  lilcheerleader

Was a nice trip to Scioto last night. It's always good to see the Giss dressed in his Sunday best. Was good to meet Gary (Kinda hard to have a conversation standing side by side with someone who is deaf in the same ear as i am)lol.Got to meet Stacy and her husband.Just wish i would have bet more than i did on Mark Headworths trotter. That way i could have made up for all the money those 1 arm bandits stole from my wife.lol...The place is pretty awesome..The only drawback that i saw was,the simulcast area is a little to small for a big night of racing. The slot area was packed so i'm sure it wont be long b4 that changes..

No tuxedo, just a blazer and khakis with a tie. So draw your own cocnclusions.

What a great night of racing...and I think I would be saying that even if I did not leave with more $$$ than I had when I walked in.  It is really fun to be able to play the races at Scioto again.  For the last few years, I found most of the races unbetable.  Now my problem is this...I'm going through withdrawal waiting for the Thursday draw and Friday night when I can download a program for Sunday races at Delaware.    I'm so anxious to start my vacation that I'm ready to get a program and start marking it up even if it's for a track I won;t be watching this week.
