Watch the greatest race on a half mile track for aged horses in Canada tonight, the Gold Cup and Saucer. Solid field of 9 horses, with some boys coming back home from Ontario and other parts of the world. Wally Hennessy didn't make it back this year or Mark MacDonald, but Mark's two brothers Anthony and James will be driving tonight. Here are the entries:
1: Eighteen
2: Draconian
3: Pontiac Luck
4: Amazon Art
5: Mystician
6: Mcapulco
7: Hare Craft
8: Piece Of The Rock
9: Stonebridge Terror
I think Doc Moore will have Eighteen geared up and ready tonight, and young Tyler will roll him right down the road. Look for them to go big fractions. Stonebridge Terror should be right on his back and will have a big shot. Mystician will be another one to keep a watch for. Should be a great race. You can watch it live at the www.redshores.ca website.

Gold Cup and Saucer Girls and dignitaries are being paraded down now!

As predicted, Doctor Ian Moore had Eighteen geared up to go, and his son Tyler pointed him down the road. Stonebridge Terror tried a big three wide move around stalled cover at the half and they battled a bit down the backside, but this was all Eighteen as he won going away, equaling the track record of 1:51 flat. Mystician got up for the deuce. Another great Gold Cup and Saucer which, as always, was very well attended. I'll try to get a replay posted up as soon as one is available.

Another wonderful Old Home Week. We didn't have any luck with our babies this week but it was an honor to race at the CDP! I was cheering for Matteson to take home the gold but was obviously impressed with 18 and Jeff Gillis' horse. Definitely the LBJ week for Canada heartluv
