Title: Great quote by Gary Johnson
Post by: LVGaryD on July 24, 2012, 10:23:56 AM
"I was on NPR's All Things Considered yesterday. The question was, 'You're on the torture rack, they're going to kill you, who are you going to vote for? Mitt Romney, or Barack Obama? I said, 'Look, I've climbed Mount Everest. I know how to do what it takes. Take this to the bank: I would rather die.'"
~Gary Johnson

 bowdown bowdown bowdown

Old Gary D. would also rather die than vote for either of those ass clowns!  lilcheerleader

I would vote for Obama before one turn of the screw!  Here in Illinois, my vote doesn't count anyway.  Obama in a Dem Machine landslide.  Those voting for Gary J are voting to have us all put on the rack anyway.  Please, I have a very low pain tolerance! 8) 8) 8)

A better response would have been:

"If you guys want to be recognized as a credible news organization, you've got to be more responsible when framing your questions.  Your question is almost as bad as asking me if I've stopped beating my wife... yes or no!  Obviously, you're trying to corner me into making a choice that suits some less-than-subtle agenda you may have.  The steaks are too high to waste time playing "gotcha" politics."

Yes it is!  However, the ultra lib media will take that to be an extremist answer.  Even most conservatives would prefer a more pragmatic answer.  If you are dead, so are your principles.(at least as far as you are concerned)
Would I vote for Gary Johnson?  I most likely won't but if Romney said he was in favor of one world government I would.  It's not that I think he is an asshole,  Bottom line, he can't win.  He won't get the women's vote either, debate or no debate. There is only one person I can't stand in this election.  Obama! He is as phoney as a four dollar bill.  Problem is, too many believe his bullshit.

If I could agree by more than 100% I would.

That's why it is worth debating other things with you; because in the end, at least we both know how to read the program!

The absolute dire implications of a vote for Johnson or Gingrich or ------you name him.
There are four Supreme Court justices who are 76 years of age or older. The aclu witch is the oldest at 81. Scalia and Kennedy are both 78 and Breyer is 76.
Whomever is elected this November and sits in the Oval Office is almost certain to select at least one new member of the court (probably more) and literally hundreds of life-tenured federal judges. All of these appointments will be making momentous decesions re. our lives for decades to come.
If you think this will have only minimal effect on the well being of our country you will have been accused of smoking something a bit on the "funky" side.
For that reason alone your vote is critical but if you are thinking of not voting or writing in a candidate because your little darling didn't get the nomination think about this one,

Supreme Court Justice ......Eric Holder !!
Got your attention ?? Hope so !!@

Holder will certainly be in prison before he ever gets put on the bench.

I truly think there is zero difference between Obama and Obomney. I am voting for the best man and that is Gary Johnson.

How about this: Which one loves America and hopes he can make it easier for people to succeed in business, versus one who thinks America is a flawed and needs to be forced to bow to other nations.

No brainer. (Romney wasn't my choice, but since he's the one to kick Obama's ass out of the Half-White House I'll vote for him until I can vote for a true Conservative. 4 more years of the Bamster will ruin this country.

A vote for Johnson, who I like by the way, both politically and personally, is a vote wasted and thrown away.
The progressives will circle the wagons around Holder and he will certainly be allowed to escape his "sins" simply due to the color of his skin. "Diversity", don't 'cha know.
He is a very, VERY real option for Barry and Moochie should the Obama Ears and Arse be re-elected.

If Holder is found guilty of absolutely anything before the next inaugeration, there will be an immediate Presidential pardon. He has a "Golden Pass".
