I am not really sure what they were talking about, (guess the one guy was right, I don't understand) Don and Duong but they seemed more concerned about what was posted on other forums and taking things out of context.

These two have been chucked out of every forum known to mankind and for good reason.

Well it was Halloween last night and the dopes from another forum were on a sugar high and ended up here.
You did not miss much. Two members of the knowitall group decided to troll on over and grace us with their presence. You know the group where if you agree with them you are right and OK and if not you are a know nothing and a cheerleader. The ones who claim the game is dead yet cannot stop talking about what is going in the game right now.
They should be on TV as they are funnier than the current 2 1/2 men show.
The wizzer sounds and acts Jake, Flukemaster is gonna be like Alan Harper soon and the othe one cam play Ashotn's role as he is a punk also.

Good job, LVGD.

I can start another with your name if you like, should I make it about your billings drives or your track announcer duties? ;D

Anything about my Billings drives will be pretty offensive. rflmao1

Very little of any substance or merit Giss.
Now onto more pleasant things...How did the soccer season go this year. With all of the technical difficulties this site has suffered, an update would be appreciated. thumbsup thumbsup

Thanks for asking. It was the worst I have ever experienced. Leading scorer declared ineligible for grades, AFTER we play eight matches so we forfeited all of those. Five concussions, two ACLs (I had three and one in the preceding five years) and a couple out of control parents, one who called an opposing player "F-ing trailer trash."
I was still selected to coach the senior all-star match (next Sunday) and was a finalist for the Kim Mahoney Award for ethics and sportsmanship in coaching.
I am looking at all options for next year.

freaking trailer trash. LOL noway

Not even remotely LOL. Not when I have to apologize to the girl, her coach and their AD in order to keep the school (which again won the statewide Meyer Sportsmanship Award ::)) form being sanctioned by the league and state. Not when six of our parents call me before we get off the bus to ask what I am going to do about his behavior. Not when I have to meet with my AD about it at 9 AM the next day even though I am on deadline for real work. No, not at all.

That story makes it even funnier. rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1

Sorry Giss. "A couple of out of control parents" vision was in my head. I can only imagine the hoops you had to jump thru to calm the insulted, injured masses. noway

At just about any youth sporting event the parents are 100 times worse
than the kids ! I tried to be a umpire years ago and didn't last 1 whole
season, I loved the kids but wanted to kick a lot of parents asses. I will
also add that the Moms seem worse then the Dads !

No doubt. My grandaughters play on kids teams.(softball, soccer, swimming) and they have a ball. The parents are a total PITA... and it's almost always the Moms. The grief you see on the kids faces doesn't come from getting beat, but from being embarrassed by their parents.

At least the soccer moms didn't bombard you and do a WWE title match. rflmao1

Sounds like the season from hell....However, next year can only be better than this one.
Confused as to the eligibility issue...I know out here the teachers have to submit a weekly, passing course or something of that nature, to maintain a players eligibility...week to week. How does it work in Ohio regarding eligiblity ?
Now as to the "trailer trash " comment..Well terrible thing to call a child....Now had a parent called another parent that during a game, well that would have been funny..Oh well my sense of humor on occasion is noway noway noway
A fine glass of wine, not that cheap stuff Amy drinks, and a good cigar will surely make things better.
Good Luck next year and of course. Sie gesund.

Interesting that after the clown chastized Giss he never provided proof of Giss' so called error after multiple pages and posts

There is a similar program in place, computerized, at our school for in-season eliigibility. This goes back to last semester of 10-11 (spring). Did not pass the state minimum # of core courses. Made them up in summer school, which means she moves on to the next grade, but summer school does not make you eligible for athletics. The administration HAD to know and did nothing about it until a routine double check by our new AD (and let me be clear, the error was not in the athletic office).

Don't get me started on the idiots that pose under the guise of educators and or adminsitrators in the PUBLIC SCHOOL SECTOR....I need and angry icon to express what I feel. idunno idunno in lieu of anger, the Idunno icon will do since that is the state of public education in this country..

I'd have to agree with you there. My son played in an under 7 league this fall, and some of those women were horrible. You wouldn't believe the stuff that would come out of their mouths with a bunch of 6 year olds playing. noway
