Title: Must be something in the air
Post by: LVGaryD on May 14, 2012, 12:16:02 PM
The fillies are kicking away at The Meadows today. Tony Hall post paraded Bareboat for Janet Irvine, got kicked at several times, and he pulled up to the paddock and refused to drive the horse. Bill Irvine drove and she ran behind the gate.

Now Matt Kakaley is having trouble with one in this race with My Love Bi (great name!) kicking in the post parade.

I do not miss getting kicked at while in a bike seat! I hate fillies...  4pezz2 rflmao1

Now Griz got kicked today in the post parade. He pulled the horse up at the paddock, walked it off, got checked out by the ambulance attendant, then got back on and won the race.

Bettor hates it when you use the word 'limp' when talking about GGG

Those kicking fillies always worried me. When you're stting in that bike there's nothing between their feet and "Gem & The Twins". :'(

Regardless of names, nobody wants to ever dismiss the services of Little Luther D.

When one started firing away with me in the bike, my best defense was to crank hard on the line away from the leg they were kicking with... even if I had to spin them in a circle. I'd rather replace a wheel or wheel disk than lose my best friend. Sometimes, just give them their head in the post parade and let them accelerate will settle them down... but can result in a fine from a pissy judge.
