Title: Warning Zone
Post by: Elgin on April 15, 2012, 12:37:37 PM
With his :48.3 win in a $25,000 condition pace at M1 last night, Warning Zone supplants the great Riyadh as the fastest son of Jate Lobell. That honor now belongs to Warning Zone, not Riyadh, Powerful Toy, Davids Pass, Village Jasper, Bo Knows Jate, Gothic Dream or any of the others. Warning Zone is OK; he won the Bluegrass and the Simpson as a colt and since then has raced in high-end condition races, against claimers

Never understood why former Illinois trainer Scott Di Dimenico kept putting him in a claimer , I would have thought he would want to keep him for awhile. idunno

He has an old suspensory and has always battled soundness issues.

Suspensories & check-ligaments are tough to handle. They tend to recur pretty easily.
